Visit The Studio
Please come visit the charming Historical Village of Dorset, Vermont where you'll find the working studio and gift shop of Flower Brook Pottery. This adorable little building served as the First Congregational Church in Enfield Massachusetts which was then transported to Dorset in the 1930's by Charles Wade to make way for the Quabbin Reservoir.
The shop is stuffed with whimsical handmade pottery by Janno including a wide variety of colorful, functional pieces for your home, with the option to special order any piece/s in any pattern. Janno specializes in custom work that ranges from standard patterns to choose from (these are customized to include names and dates) to one-of-a-kind pieces that are rendered from ideas and/or photos of your choosing. These special order pieces are priced according to complexity.
Our gift section includes favorite baby gifts such as the popular comfort companion Buddy Blanket by Bunnies by the Bay, along with bunny slippers, Silly Buddies and plush critters for cuddling. Lovies and rattles by Angel Dear, fine knit apparel up to 18 months by Monica Pommier, playful fantasy tu-tu's and garland head-bands by The Pamela Company, KD Hill knit hats...made in Vermont of course! and of course my wonderful selection of handmade pottery for kids. I make cereal bowls, mugs, double handled cups, plates and teapots to order. All can come with personalization upon request.
